Qype: Joy Foods in London

London - Restaurants - Take Away - Restaurants - Moroccan - Restaurants - Middle Eastern - Restaurants - International

What a funky little place. It's family-run and you sense that with the staff. The communal tables are really great for people doing the inevitable 'on your own' lunch crawl so that they don't actually have to sit at a table 'for one'.

The food is a modern take on Moroccan, without the cheesy OTT Moroccan decor. It really is a place you can go for a tasty meal with a difference, and feel a little buzz of others enjoying their food. I had the Chicken pastilla for £5.20; a fillo parcel with chicken, almonds and cinnamon with a side salad which was really tasty - pity about the chicken bone which knocked off a star for them.
