When I got on the eye I thought it was so tedious I was going to pull all my eye-lashes out by the time it 'landed' again (cheesy reference to the 'Enjoy your flight' message courtesy of BA). But once you've paid a pretty high price and climbed into your coccoon, you're transported high over London and for once the weave of underground tunnels and landmarks come together and you can appreciate it as a whole. And you actually get to the end a lot quicker than you'd think.

Pick a clear day and expect long queues. Great to take visitors up to 'take in' London - and of course get a fairly good photo.
