London - Food & Drink - Cheese Shops
About a year ago something wonderful happened around the corner from South Kensington tube station - La Cave a Fromage was born. For cheese lovers this is the place to get your fix - with staff eager to find up to 1000 different cheeses to meet any and every requirement.
A modern take on cheese shops, the air is lightly chilled and the cheeses are easily accessable for you to oggle if you're not sure what you're after. From a cheese tasting event we had last night, we were reminded that curiosity is often rewarded. So bend away from your cheddars and camemberts, and open your mind to a whole world of different cheeses out there (many of which are stoacked at la cave!). And as Tim pointed out, they also do bread (baked fresh on site from next week), cold meats, preserves and unique wines.
