London - Restaurants - Thai
Gave it the ol' Phad thai test and sadly it failed - didn't have the slightly sweet tang and was quite dry. Disappointing as I was really hoping it would become my local but alas. Also offered a beef option of the dish which is new to me.
It started so well - it really is tiny and the English breakfast menu in the morning seems a bizarre combo. It's BYOB which is quite nice actually as you don't pay £20 for a bottle you could get up the road for a fiver. The starters were excellent and I must comment that the satay sauce was authentic and very fresh. One of the skewers was a little underdone (always a worry with chicken) but otherwise lovely staff and decent prices with starters £4/5 and mains £6/7. But not amazing and wouldn't hurry back myself.
