London - Pubs & Bars - Pubs
First time I visited a favourite of a friend and glad a did as it's a really funky place. Apparently it had a fire a while back and took some time finding it's feet but it is now a quirky, popular place with unique decor and an interesting mix of clientelle. Food was a little on the pricey side - £14 for a tapas platter with some cold meats, cheeses and a couple of slices of bread - not a huge portion. But saying that they've also got some nifty things like oysters - done either the American (with parmesan and stuff), Japanese (with wasabi and ginger) or English (with lemon juice) way.
There's also a really cool area through the back which is sort of in a green house and littered with palms and things which makes for an interesting setting. I like a pub that goes off the beaten track.
Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
