Qype: The Angelic in London

I was surprised at how big this place was, and how full it was on a Thursday night. We went for a little function and spent most of the night upstairs. The decor is really great and there's a nice atmosphere that raises it from amongst the average London pub. We had a dire array of tapas and I'm not entirely sure who kept ordering the same bloody trio but I was not blown over by the calamari rings, hummus or cocktail sausages. Having a quick scan of the menu now it seems we missed out on what could have made this pub stand out from the crowd, but packed to the rafters until midnight during the week it's certainly doing something right.
